FitPeo Smart Scale
What does the FitPeo Smart Body Scale measure?
The FitPeo Smart Body Scale measures weight and provides supported body-composition measurements through its BIA technology. Available measurements may include body fat, body water, muscle mass, BMI, visceral fat, bone mass, protein, BMR, body age, and other supported metrics.
How does the FitPeo Smart Body Scale work?
The scale uses weighing sensors and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to collect body measurements. The scale uses contact points on the feet and its measuring handle to capture body-composition data, which can then be viewed through the compatible FitPeo app.
Why does the FitPeo Scale have a measuring handle?
The measuring handle provides additional hand contact points, allowing the scale to capture measurements across more of the body than a conventional foot-only scale.
What is BIA?
BIA stands for Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. It uses a small electrical signal and the body's impedance response to estimate supported body-composition measurements.
Does the FitPeo Scale measure the whole body?
The FitPeo Smart Body Scale uses both foot and hand contact points for whole-body BIA measurement. The exact measurements available depend on the device and its supported functionality.
Can I use the scale without the handle?
The scale can be used for supported measurements according to its operating design. For whole-body BIA measurements, use the measuring handle as instructed.
How should I use the FitPeo Smart Scale?
Place the scale on a stable, level surface and step onto the designated contact areas. Hold the measuring handle as instructed and remain still during the measurement.
